Tunisia Security Updates

TS Update-(Friday Feb 8th)

Greetings Expats,

Receiving a lot of information from security contacts, friends and family. Extremely busy so I can’t write a lot but as always I would like to share some helpful information.

Threats & Challenges

  • Political violence
  • Protests and demonstrations

Assessment

  • Civil unrest threat remains HIGH

Expat Empowering Actions

  • Proceed with a high level of caution for the next 48 hours
  • Monitor security situation with a variety of sources
  • Review residential security
  • Avoid Protests

As a safety precaution it would be prudent to simply step back and watch how this plays out.  While there is no need to panic there is enough information to avoid any unnecessary risks.
